We have some tips for you, if you are new you may likely get ignored once or twice. You have to cope with it and try not be gain attention by flooding or typing in capslock. It would be fine to introduce yourself but you should not share anything real about yourself such as college name, full name and so on.

It would be much better if you enter the chat as a popular character from a movie/ series or a cartoon and continue to hold that role for the time you chat. This can make your chats fun and interesting and also increase your privacy when you chat with other teens.
